Youth take part in weekly virtual music instruction sessions on both drums and guitar to enhance their musical skills, and explore international musical modes from all around the world. In July and August, the program will take youth on a virtual music tour to east Africa including stops in Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan and Burundi. Sessions include musical instrument and artist features; geographical, historical, and cultural overviews; audio/video clips; and other interactive activities and apps. Join us for our Summer Music Series featuring artist educators showcasing a variety of genres.
